Ok, so maybe it’s not a shack, but it is our home in progress. It’s more like a shed. 10×14. One and a half floors. A door. Two (possibly three) windows. (Don’t laugh. If you visit in the future, there’s a chance you will stay in it since it will be the guest cabin.) Most importantly, our new home does not require a mortgage, and we can build it (along with anything else) without permits, inspections, engineered plans, yada, yada, yada.
